I’m black with curly thick hair and I had tried the RevAir but returned it and had all but given up on trying devices to cut back on styling my hair. I decided to give the AirWrap a shot and to my glee, was pleasantly surprised with the results.
It cuts my prep time for styling my hair basically in half and also cuts down on the time “stretching” my hair takes by several days.
I know knock-off dryers (does not feel valid calling this product a blow dryer) can do the same but for me, heat damage is my main concern. This product does not fry the hair, not even close, and I’m able to easily flick down the intensity mid-process if I want.
For extra nourishment and shine, I comb my hair out using a detangling conditioner, then make small sections and coat each piece with virgin coconut oil pre-Dyson.
I really like the smoothing brushes and round brush. The Coanda smoothing dryer is also nice.

Yes it’s expensive, but it has been a game changer. I have fine hair, but a decent amount of it. The fact that this doesn’t not use a lot of heat is perfect because my hair gets damaged easily even with heat protectant sprays. Item arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I’m not an expert at hair, but with a couple of YouTube tutorials on the attachments and how to get the curls to hold, you’ll be golden.

I am very lazy when it comes to styling my hair. I also have very fine, thin hair, so I have to wash it often to keep it from looking and feeling greasy. I’ve tried so many styling tools and her brush dryers over the years, and never found anything that worked for me. This thing is legit. I use it every single day. It’s easy, works Remely well, leaving my hair looking like I just left the salon. No joke. I have zero styling skills. Plus my laziness when it comes to doing my hair years of letting it air dry and putting it up in a bun or ponytail. Now I can leave it down and it looks perfectly styled after about five minutes with this tool. I absolutely love it! Worth the price. Hope it lasts forever.
