Comic book fans worldwide are talking about upcoming projects after DCU Green Lanterns James Gunn recently detailed his plans for the DC Universe in terms of film and television. Many Green Lantern fans were especially interested in the revelation that two of the franchise’s pillars will star in an HBO Max series.
The television program, Lanterns, will center on John Stewart and Hal Jordan, though Gunn adds, “We have a few more Lanterns peppered in there.” “A terrestrial-based TV show that is almost like True Detective with a couple of Green Lanterns who are watching over precinct Earth,” stated Gunn is what the show is. They find a dark mystery that connects to the DCU’s bigger tale.
